Objective

The overall objective of the consultancy is to develop the COMFWB 2026–2030 Medium-Term Strategic Plan (MTSP). This MTSP is a critical policy instrument intended to shape and accelerate the Women in Business agenda across the COMESA region. The consultancy requires a nuanced understanding of COMFWB’s mandate to champion women’s economic empowerment, facilitate intra-regional trade, and contribute meaningfully to inclusive regional development. The assignment must be responsive to achievements, lessons learned, and implementation challenges from the 2021–2025 Strategic Plan, and it should articulate a visionary, results-oriented, and contextually grounded strategy for the 2026–2030 planning cycle.
