Objective

The assignment sought to provide professional and technical guidance to UGNMU in the establishment of the proposed Specialized Nurses and Midwives University in Uganda. This included shaping a strategic plan that aligns with national priorities in health education, while ensuring compliance with higher education regulations and international best practices.

A core component of the assignment was advising on the legal procedures, institutional governance structures, and policy frameworks necessary to operationalize the University and secure approval from the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).
